For all of you Iphone owners who need other applications than super monkey ball and lightsabers to make all your non Iphone owners to feel puny and pathetic, id is considering bringing Doom to the Iphone. John Hollenshead, id ceo, is interested in bringing over some mobile versions of doom over to the phone.
Wolfenstien rpg and Doom rpg are the titles in question that may port there way over to the Iphone. Developers said they were unfortunately too busy to be able to create the games for the launch of the phone or the release of the newer version. The project may not ever leave the developing room, but both parties seem very interested in bringing the games over to the phone.

If you check the blog posts all over the internet you will see a very large and very unhappy fan base. All three major companies seemed to disappoint in content and innovation at this years E3. None disappointed as much as Nintendo did.
There was a rumor by IGN that there was a Kid Icarus game in the works. Come E3 time, no Kid Icarus game was announced. Actually no big franchise game was announced at all. Nintendo released an apology for E3, stating that the big games take time and they didn't have anything to show at this time.
Nintendo also had problems during the E3 conference as a huge percentage of their time was devoted to Mothers day cards, Wrist injuries, and people playing WiiMusic. Okay so it may not have been that much but anytime spent on Mothers day cards at a gaming convention doesn't make much sense.

For all of you PS3 fans who told everyone they would be sorry they got an Xbox when great games like FFXIII comes out, will be sorely disappointed today. Square Enix announced yesterday that the highly anticipated FFXIII will go to the Xbox 360 and to the PS3. What?!?
From official E3 releases the reason is because of Microsoft's much larger base from which to make profit off of. Some reports show the Xbox 360 with 6 million more users. Also they definitely want to capitalize on the Asian gaming market where Microsoft has struggled against the Wii and the PSP.
So FFXIII is not for just Sony anymore. With more Wii's maybe the next one will go back to Nintendo as well.

How many times have you said, "I would totally buy an Xbox 360 if I could rent movies from Netflix on it." Well for all of you that walked past Microsoft's box of gaming, you are now in luck. Netflix will be supplementing Xbox's media library with over 10,000 additional downloads.
You won't be seeing the service until during the holiday rush, most likely late November or Early December. You also will need to be a Netflix subscriber and obviously an Xbox Live Gold member to be able to download anything. You will be able to download TV shows as well as movies.
The movie rental industry has been struggling to remain profitable in the age of online rentals, as the competition has pushed prices down low enough that little profit is being made. Blockbuster and Netflix have both been trying every thing they can to get more users all the while cutting costs. Maybe PS3 will team up with Blockbuster. This leaves only one question. Who will partner with the Wii?
