Vista Execs Voice Rocky Start
Written by Cannonarm

With the rocky start to the vista launch there is even more evidence to cast doubt on the one year old operating system.  Microsoft execs have been complaining since release about the built in driver support and graphic problems with the release that seemed to be ongoing far after the launch.  Certain execs had their emails posted such as Steven Sinofsky. bashthepc

"People who rely on using all the features of their hardware will not see availability for some time, if ever, depending on the [manufacturer]," Sinofsky continued in the message."

Unfortunately the driver issues really only seem to cripple a very small portion of users.  Microsoft is left at the mercy of manufacturers unfortunately to patch their products for vista.  There seems to be no reocurse for manufacturers who don't support their products for vista as users continue to blame Vista for all their woes.  Even though Vista seems to be a resource hog compared to XP, many users seem to forget all the pre sp2 issues xp had.  In a world where everyone expects the latest and greatest and they expect yesterday without any problems at all, it seems that nothing microsoft can do right now to rally support for its ever struggling Vista.
