So for those of you who are Achievement Whores do I have the website for you. Unlock The Achievement (UTA) have cooked up a really cool idea, an internet scavenger hunt. With Prizes. First go register an account over at Unlock The Achievement , it takes 30 seconds with no email confirmation, make sure your logged in then start your searching. They have 40 some odd websites that have "achievements" each hidden on them that look like a 360 power button with a lock in the middle, you click these locks and it will shoot you back to the UTA sight and add it to your unlocked achievements. I'm not sure if its on purpose or not but they only have the top right portion of the power button lit up in green and it kinda reminds me of an inverse RROD. You can take a look at it after the break. I would recommend launching the button link in a separate window since UTA servers are really slow under the heavy load right now and it will allow you to keep looking.

They've had quite a few major sponsors hop on board including Capcom, Hudson, EA, and Sierra to name but a few and all the websites your searching through are gaming related, predominantly 360 related.

The Hunt started on yesterday on Monday and finishes next Monday, April 28, 2008. With a little over 200 buttons to find you might be searching for a while, though the top of the leader board as of posting had 147 found. I am kind of disappointed that there wasn't an easily integrated "team" module for it that would allow more than one person to log into an account at once so say a community could work on them. I know it would be a bit unfair as far as prizes would go but even if it was a just for fun mode that 5 or 6 people could kick back on Team Speak or Vent and scavenge together would be a great community get together.
