A few weeks ago, we posted some news about The Decimation and I am happy to see the LANCLAN guys keeping up with their promise to update and they have announced that the public version will be release this month.  They are staying true with a tradition to release the game on April 24th, the same day they have released projects every year since 2002 (except last year they started a 2 year project).   

It looks like their public release is going to be slightly different (easier to play) version with a single cvar doing all the work to differentiate the competitive version. Both modes will be continuously refined for another year making maps, weapons, textures, new character models, new animations and tons of other new features until they find the perfect shade of grey.
