The Sims.
I suppose I could probably just end this article there, and there wouldn't to be much more needed to be said, but sadly it gets worse. While they didn’t get Uwe Boll on the team, which at this point I'm trying to decide if that’s a blessing or a curse the project is being headed up by John Davis, his last few project credits include "Norbit," "When A Stranger Calls," "Eragon." and penned a little movie called Scary Movie 3. Oh, and they think the idea behind it has a strong story to it.
While admittedly I've never seen the first two movies (I've heard stories, 3.1/10 and 4.5/10 repectively), but Eragon, for those of you who read the book, i'm sure like me, were completely disappointed and boarder line pissed off (I haven't met one person who read the book who like the movie). The interpretation of the book was as followed: they took the first and last chapters, threw them to an repressed illiterate monkey who instead of writing, jizzed in the book. Then they took said jizzed on book and used the pages as concept art, its the only explanation about the amount of shit missing and wrong. That in mind maybe if they do this with Sims instruction manual it might be a good thing.
"'The SIMS has done an interactive version of an old story, which is what it's like to have infinite power and how do you deal with it," said Rod Humble, SIMS Studio Head. "Given that that's an old story, you can imagine how easily that would translate to traditional story telling."
I'll take one of what he's smoking please, thank you.
