Its been a rough ride these last few days waiting for the mod to be released but its finally here.  There was >1500 people on their forums the other day posting like crazy (bitching and moaning) and >900 in IRC waiting for the files to be hosted.  The developers may have made a few mistakes announcing the mod would be released in June and the community made them pay for them.  It was a wild ride, but I am glad to say its over and Insurgency Beta1 has been released to the public.

I was a little hesitant to put up a server before trying the mod, but as I finished installing it, Qwerty had just finished uploading the files to our Game Server and had already begun the install process.  Literally within seconds of the server going live, we watched it climb up to maximum capacity and its been full for almost an for over an hour now as I write this.  Join us in  a jihad against the jihadists!
