Final Fantasy IV DS

A final Fantasy IV 3D remake, ala FF3 DS, for the Nintendo DS is in the works. And while it gives me one more reason to add to why i should pick up a DS, i'm with the people in the first source, when are we going to see a Chrono Trigger or Secret of Mana, or even Parasite Eve remakes. I love the series don't get me wrong, but FF4 was just rehashed on the GBA 2 years ago.

insurgency logoSet to release June 07, the Insurgency team has been busy redesigning their site and polishing up this mod for you all. 

Basically,  Insurgency is a total conversion mod for Valve Software's' Half-Life 2, powered by the Source Engine. INS immerses the player in an intense online combat experience. Set on the modern battlefields, Insurgency simulates infantry combat that encourages the use of teamwork and tactics to close with and destroy the enemy.

The Mighty Crane Films crew have just finished an awesome trailer to showcase some of the experience we'll be having when Insurgency gets release.

Now don't be going to get yourself a spare set of pants here, because it's believed to be for the "mobile gaming market", in short, not a hand held gaming device, but a cellphone.  The poster, coming from at SquareEnix event in tokyo, depicts Aya holding a gun to her mouth with text "Work in Progress for NTT DoCoMo FOMA".
While I'm not quite sure if the announcement should be enough for Aya to be contemplating the depicted suicide, it a least feels to me like that's what they may well be doing to the PE franchise.

Insect Infestation updates

Folks at Insect Infestation Mod for HL2 have recently updated their game with some new shizzle.
A huge new map called II_BACKALLEY looks like it filled full of sweetness for any bug.

Download the 1.0.9 patch from 3-PG and install it upon the base 1.0.8 version

For more information on this mod check out their website for they have excellent user guide and a fun video guide.  I remember having lots of fun playing this game on our 3-PG server when the beta came out.  I am going to give this another try and check out some of the new maps and features.  Join me!
